Based on a client brief, we crafted custom handmade spice baskets for Ouzo Mini, designed specifically for restaurant use. After evaluating market options, we decided that a handmade approach would best meet the client’s needs. We sourced vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper bottles, and partnered with a skilled carpenter who produced over 2,000 baskets before the summer season. These baskets were treated with a special oil to withstand seaside conditions, including sun, sand, and salty air. Each basket featured printed logos on opposite sides, serving as effective in-restaurant branding where Ouzo Mini is primarily enjoyed.
